Week 50 :: Meal Time -- Chicken Alfredo

Chicken Alfredo:
EASY!
(this is the cheating way to do chicken alfredo, but you can make your own alfredo sauce! I just needed a quick meal for this night.) Here and here are a couple good homemade alfredo recipes.

What you'll need:
2 chicken breasts
seasoning – montreal chicken works great

Pasta (linguine works great)
1 jar Bertolli's Alfredo Sauce (picture here)
seasoning (parsley flakes, garlic powder (a TINY bit), and pepper) (optional) 

What you'll do:
Grill the chicken breasts with the seasoning of your choice. Grill until thoroughly cooked. While this is grilling, boil water according to pasta directions. Cook pasta. Drain pasta. Add jar of alfredo sauce and additional seasonings. Warm up. Cut up chicken breasts. (Kitchen Sheers work great. These are what I have and they are fabulous!!) Serve chicken on top or mixed in with the pasta. Serve hot with garlic toast. ENJOY!
