Tim and I both had an afternoon off on the same day and so we decided to go to the reservoir and hang out in the sun. Tim hadn't ever made a sand castle before so... for his birthday I got him a sand castle bucket and that is just what we did. Built sand castles and played beach volleyball and then went to Costa Vida for dinner. It was a lot of fun to be outside and hang out.
Additional Date Idea: Play volleyball, basketball, badminton, croquet, four square or any other outdoor activity of your choice. Then lay in the grass, or sand, and talk and look at the clouds or just enjoy being in the sun.
