Week 48 :: Meal Time -- Artichokes

Meal Time:


Perfect Artichokes:
Total time: 40-50 minutes
Servings: 2 servings per artichoke

What you'll need:
artichokes
salt
large pot

What you'll do:
Place the artichoke(s) in a large pot. Fill the large pot with water so it will cover the artichoke(s) half way. Put about 1/2 tsp. of salt in the water for every artichoke. Boil over medium-high heat for 20-25 minutes. Using tongs flip the artichoke over. Boil for another 20-25 minutes. (I did mine for 23 minutes on each side, so a total of 46 minutes and it was great!) Remove artichoke(s) with tongs and place on a plate that is covered with a paper towel to drain. Dip in melted butter.  Serve with potatoes and chicken. ENJOY!



I just got home from the gym..so I look super disgusting..but this was just too funny not to add. I would not suggest doing this. It smells weird..haha. I was obviously in a crazy mood.. oh well!
